This little charming piece is my latest project
done on lutradur,then sewed on 100% heavy cotton. It was made with 100% wool roving,
and various wool.

Universal Goddess

This original mixed media painting has many layers, and great textural effects.
Done on wrap canvas 16 x 20 inches with 1 1/2 inch border.
The sensual movement of the body reaching for the universe holding the sun in one hand and the moon in the other symbolize the masculine and feminine energy , yin and yang.
It is a symbol of opposites, which are part of one another.
When we realize that there is no separation, then our mind becomes more spacious,
We acquire a greater clarity about ourselves and our connection with the rest of the universe.

The first two are expressive mixed media done on 140 lbs Fabriano acid free watercolor paper with an acrylic glaze 7 x 9 1/2. Available at my Etsy

Fabric Collage Postcard

These are my latest creations . I enjoy making these fabric collage postcard.
I used an image transfer with gel medium on the first one, which is the focal point. It's surround by material scrap, which I randomly sew . A few stars adorn the sky.
The second is a vintage photo printed on material using Digital grounds, and a bit of Angel fibers to the left of the card.
These postcards can be frame as small piece of art on an easel, or give to someone.
